English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection I will be standing at the Basin. A group will come, and when I recognize them, a person (an angel) will come out from between me and them and say (to those people): 'Come along.' I will ask, 'Where are you taking them?' He will say, 'Toward the Fire, by Allah (where else).' I will say, 'What is the reason for this?' He will say, 'These people turned back on their heels (away from the religion) after your death (peace be upon him) and cast the commandments of Allah behind their backs.' Then (after them) another group will come, and when I recognize them (as being people of my nation), a person (an angel) will come out from between me and them and say, 'Come along.' I will ask, 'Where are you taking them?' He will say, 'Toward the Fire.' I will say, 'Why?' He will say, 'These people turned back on their heels away from the religion after your death (peace be upon him)' (and cast the commandments of Allah behind their backs)." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Then only very few of them will be saved."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”قیامت کے دن حوض پر میں کھڑا ہوا ہوں گا۔ ایک گروہ آئے گا، جب میں ان کو پہچان لوں گا تو میرے اور ان کے درمیان سے شخص (فرشتہ) نکل کر (ان لوگوں سے) کہے گا کہ چلو۔ میں کہوں گا کہ ان کو کدھر لے چلے؟ وہ کہے گا دوزخ کی طرف، اللہ کی قسم (اور کہاں)۔ میں کہوں گا کہ اس کا کیا سبب ہے؟ وہ کہے گا کہ یہ لوگ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی وفات کے بعد (دین سے) الٹے پاؤں پھر گئے تھے (اور اللہ کے احکامات کو پس پشت ڈال دیا تھا)۔ پھر (ان کے بعد) ایک اور گروہ آئے گا اور جب میں ان کو پہچان لوں گا (کہ میری امت کے لوگ ہیں) تو میرے اور ان کے درمیان ایک شخص (فرشتہ) نکلے گا اور کہے گا کہ چلو۔ میں کہوں گا کہ ان کو کہاں لے جاؤ گے؟ وہ کہے گا دوزخ کی طرف میں کہوں گا کیوں؟ وہ کہے گا کہ یہ لوگ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی وفات کے بعد دین سے الٹے پاؤں پھر گئے تھے۔“(اور اللہ کے احکامات کو پشت ڈال دیا تھا۔ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”پھر ان میں سے بہت ہی تھوڑے (لوگ) بچیں گے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2135]
