English Translation
Narrated Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Paradise is nearer to you than the strap of your sandal, and likewise the Fire is nearer to you than the strap of your sandal." (So walk with care.)
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”جنت تمہارے جوتے کے تسمے سے بھی زیادہ قریب ہے اور ایسے ہی دوزخ بھی تمہارے جوتے کے تسمے سے بھی زیادہ قریب ہے۔“(اس لیے سنبھل کر چلو)۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2111]
