English Translation
It is narrated from Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "A believer is to another believer like (the parts of) a building, one part of which supports the other," and he illustrated by interlacing his fingers, that in this way they support one another and give strength. (Once it happened that) he (peace be upon him) was sitting when a supplicant or a needy person came. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) turned toward us and said: "Intercede for this person, and you will be rewarded; and Allah brings about whatever He wills upon the tongue of His Prophet (peace be upon him)."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوموسیٰ اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”ایک مومن دوسرے مومن کے لیے ایسا ہے جیسے عمارت کا ایک حصہ دوسرے کو تھامے رہتا ہے۔“اور اپنی انگلیوں کو ملا کر مثال بیان کی کہ اس طرح ایک دوسرے سے مل کر قوت دیتے ہیں۔ (ایک بار ایسا ہوا کہ) آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمبیٹھے ہوئے تھے کہ اتنے میں ایک شخص سائل یا حاجت مند آیا۔ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمہماری طرف متوجہ ہوئے اور فرمانے لگے:”اس شخص کی مجھ سے سفارش کرو، تم کو ثواب ہو گا اور اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) کی زبان پر جو چاہتا ہے جاری کرتا ہے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2026]
