English Translation
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) reported that Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him): "Can any of us sleep while in a state of janabah (major ritual impurity)?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied: "Yes, when any of you is in a state of janabah, let him perform wudu (ablution) and then sleep."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہسیدنا عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے پوچھا کہ کیا ہم میں سے کوئی بحالت جنابت سو سکتا ہے؟ تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”ہاں! جب تم میں سے کوئی جنبی ہو تو وہ وضو کر کے سوئے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 201]
