English Translation
It is narrated from Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) went to an Ansari man, and with him (peace be upon him) was a companion (Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to that man: "If you have last night's (stale) water in your waterskin, then give us to drink (from a vessel); otherwise we will drink by putting our mouths (directly to the source)." The narrator says that this man was watering his garden (so the Prophet, peace be upon him, said this). The man said: Please come to the hut, I have last night's (stale) water (I will bring it). So he took them both there and brought a bowl with water and (some) milk that he milked from his goat into it, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) drank it, then the one who had come with him (peace be upon him) also drank.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمایک انصاری کے پاس گئے اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ ایک ساتھی (ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ) بھی تھے پس نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اس شخص سے فرمایا:”اگر رات کا پانی (باسی) تمہاری مشک میں ہو تو (برتن سے) پلاؤ ورنہ ہم (یہیں) اوکھ سے منہ لگا کر پی لیں گے۔“(راوی) کہتے ہیں کہ یہ شخص اپنے باغ کو پانی دے رہا تھا (اس لیے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے یہ فرمایا)۔ اس شخص نے عرض کی کہ آپ جھونپڑی میں تشریف لے چلیے میرے پاس رات کا پانی (باسی) ہے (میں لاتا ہوں چنانچہ) وہ دونوں کو وہاں لے گیا اور ایک پیالہ میں پانی اور (کچھ) دودھ اپنی بکری کا اس میں دوھ کر لایا اور رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے پی لیا پھر جو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ آئے تھے انھوں نے بھی پیا۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1940]
