English Translation
Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade steeping unripe and ripe dates together, and dates and grapes together, so that each of them should be steeped separately (then there is no harm).
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوقتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے کچی اور پکی کھجوروں کو اور کھجور اور انگور کو ملا کر بھگونے سے منع فرمایا ہے کہ ان میں سے ہر ایک علیحدہ علیحدہ بھگولی جائیں (تو کوئی حرج نہیں)۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1937]
