English Translation
Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said, "It is not lawful for a woman to observe a (voluntary) fast while her husband is present without his permission, nor to let anyone into the house without her husband's approval. And whatever a woman spends (in the way of Allah) without her husband's command, then her husband will also receive half of it (the reward)."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہآپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”عورت کو جب اس کا شوہر موجود ہو (نفل) روزہ اس کی اجازت کے بغیر رکھنا جائز نہیں اور نہ شوہر کی مرضی کے بغیر کسی کو گھر میں آنے دے اور جو عورت اپنے شوہر کے حکم کے بغیر (اللہ کی راہ میں) کچھ خرچ کرے گی تو اس کے شوہر کو بھی اس میں سے آدھا (ثواب) ملے گا۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1860]
