English Translation
The Mother of the Believers, Aisha al-Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her), narrates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to her while a man was sitting with her. Seeing this, the blessed face of the Prophet (peace be upon him) changed, as if he (peace be upon him) disliked it. I said, "He is my foster-brother." So he (peace be upon him) said, "Consider carefully who your (foster) brothers are, for the bond of suckling is established only when it is (from) the nourishment (milk) of the infant."
Urdu Translation
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا روایت کرتی ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمان کے ہاں تشریف لائے اور (اس وقت) ایک شخص ان کے پاس بیٹھا تھا، یہ دیکھ کر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکا چہرہ مبارک متغیر ہو گیا گویا کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو یہ ناگوار گزرا۔ میں نے عرض کی کہ”یہ میرا دودھ شریک بھائی ہے“تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”غور کرو کہ تمہارا کون کون بھائی ہے کیونکہ دودھ کا رشتہ جب ہی ثابت ہوتا ہے کہ بچے کی غذا (دودھ) ہو۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1841]
