English Translation
Narrated Jundub ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace be upon him): He (peace be upon him) said, "Recite the Glorious Qur'an as long as your hearts are engaged in it, and when discord arises among you, stop reciting the Qur'an." (that is, so that, due to reciting half-heartedly, the words do not become jumbled and mistaken).
Urdu Translation
سیدنا جندب بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہآپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”جب تک تمہارا دل لگا رہے تم قرآن مجید پڑھتے ہو اور جب تم میں اختلاف پڑ جائے تو قرآن کی تلاوت موقوف کر دو۔“(یعنی بےدلی سے پڑھنے کی وجہ سے الفاظ آگے پیچھے اور غلط ہونے لگ جائیں)۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1827]
