English Translation
Narrated Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): By "stage by stage" is meant the successive changing of states, one after another; and this was said by the Prophet (peace be upon him) himself.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا کہ”درجہ بدرجہ“سے آگے پیچھے حالتوں کو بدلتا رہنا مراد ہے اور یہ خود نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا ہے۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1800]
