English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Allah the Exalted has said, 'The son of Adam offends Me (in this way) that he reviles time (ad-dahr), and (what is time?) I am time; the doing (of things) is in My power; I alternate the night and the day.'"
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا ہے کہ ابن آدم مجھے ایذا دیتا ہے (اس طرح کہ) وہ زمانہ کو برا کہتا ہے اور زمانہ (کیا چیز ہے؟) میں ہی تو ہوں، کرنا تو میرے اختیار میں ہے، میں ہی رات اور دن کو پلٹ پلٹ کر لاتا ہوں۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1776]
