English Translation
Narrated Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Allah gives respite to the wrongdoers, but when He seizes them, He does not let go." After this the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) recited this verse: "Such is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes the wrongdoing townships; indeed, His seizure is painful and severe." (Surah Hud: 102)
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوموسیٰ اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”اللہ ظالموں کو مہلت دیتا ہے لیکن جب پکڑتا ہے تو پھر نہیں چھوڑتا۔“اس کے بعد رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے یہ آیت پڑھی:”تیرے رب کی پکڑ کا یہی طریقہ ہے جب کہ وہ بستیوں کے رہنے والے ظالموں کو پکڑتا ہے، بیشک اس کی پکڑ بڑی دردناک اور نہایت سخت ہے۔“(سورۃ ھود: 102)[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1748]
