English Translation
Narrated Sahl bin Abi Hathmah (may Allah be pleased with him), who was with the Messenger of Allah in the Battle of Dhat Ar-Riqa: He described the prayer of fear. One group lined up with the Messenger of Allah while the other faced the enemy. The Messenger of Allah led those with him in one rak'ah, then remained standing while they completed their prayer and went to face the enemy. Then the second group came, and he led them in the remaining rak'ah. He remained seated while they completed their prayer, then he said the tasleem (salutation) with them.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا سہل بن ابی حثمہ رضی اللہ عنہ نےجو رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ جنگ ذات الرقاع میں حاضر تھے، صلوٰۃ خوف (یعنی خوف کی نماز پڑھنے) کا بیان کیا کہ ایک گروہ نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ہمراہ صف باندھی اور ایک گروہ دشمن کے مقابل رہا۔ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اپنے ساتھ والوں کو ایک رکعت پڑھائی پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکھڑے رہے اور وہ (مقتدی) اپنی نماز پوری کر کے چلے گئے اور دشمن کے مدمقابل ہو گئے) پھر دوسرا گروہ آیا، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے انھیں دوسری رکعت جو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی باقی رہ گئی تھی پڑھائی، پھر (بیٹھے) ٹھہرے رہے اور انہوں نے اپنی اپنی نماز پوری کر لی پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ان کے ساتھ سلام پھیرا۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1633]
