English Translation
Narrated Abdullah bin Masud (may Allah be pleased with him): The moon was split into two pieces during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Bear witness!"
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہچاند رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے دور میں پھٹ کر دو ٹکڑے ہو گیا تو نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”(لوگو!) گواہ رہنا۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1518]
