English Translation
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: When the verse was revealed — "And warn your nearest kindred" (Quran 26:214) — the Prophet (peace be upon him) began calling out: "O Banu Fihr! O Banu 'Adiyy!" — calling upon the various clans of the Quraysh.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہجب یہ آیت نازل ہوئی کہ”اے پیغمبر! اپنے نزدیکی رشتہ داروں کو (اللہ کے عذاب سے) ڈرایے۔“تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمپکارنے لگے:”اے بنی فہر کے لوگو، اے بنی عدی کے لوگو!”یہ سب قریش کے خاندان تھے۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1471]
