English Translation
Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Many men have attained perfection, but among women, only two reached perfection: Asiyah, the wife of Pharaoh, and Maryam, the daughter of Imran. And the superiority of Aishah over other women is like the superiority of tharid (a bread-and-meat dish) over all other foods."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”مردوں میں تو بہت سے کامل (انسان) گزرے ہیں مگر عورتوں میں دو ہی کمال کو پہنچیں، ایک تو فرعون کی بیوی آسیہ ہیں اور دوسری عمران کی بیٹی مریم علیہ السلام اور عائشہ (رضی اللہ عنہا) کو تمام عورتوں پر ایسی فضیلت حاصل ہے۔ جیسی ثرید کو تمام کھانوں پر فضیلت حاصل ہے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1425]
