English Translation
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The people of Paradise will see the people of the upper chambers above them as you see a bright star far away on the eastern or western horizon, because of the superiority of some over others." The Companions asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Are those the stations of the Prophets that no one else can reach?" He said: "No, by the One in Whose Hand is my soul! They are people who believed in Allah and believed in the Messengers."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہآپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”اہل جنت اپنے اوپر والوں کو ایسے دیکھیں گے جیسے تم روشن ستارے کو جو مشرقی کنارے یا مغربی کنارے کے قریب ہو، دیکھتے ہو۔ کیونکہ ان میں ایک (جنتی) دوسرے سے افضل ہو گا۔“صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم نے عرض کی کہ یا رسول اللہ! یہ انبیاء کے مقامات ہیں، کوئی اور وہاں کیسے پہنچ سکتا ہے؟ تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”(کیوں) نہیں! قسم اس کی جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے کہ کچھ لوگ جو اللہ پر ایمان لائے اور انھوں نے پیغمبروں کی تصدیق کی (وہ بھی وہاں پہنچیں گے)۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1380]
