English Translation
Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Free the captives, feed the hungry, and visit the sick." (And it is obligatory to free Muslim captives by any means possible.)
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوموسیٰ اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”قیدی کو رہائی دو اور بھوکے کو کھانا کھلاؤ اور بیمار کی عیادت کرو۔“(اور مسلمان قیدی کو جس طرح بھی ممکن ہو سکے رہا کرانا واجب ہے)۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1301]
