Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، قَالَ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ أَنَسًا مَا سَمِعْتَ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي الثُّومِ فَقَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ فَلاَ يَقْرَبْنَا، أَوْ لاَ يُصَلِّيَنَّ مَعَنَا ".
English Translation
Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) was asked: 'What did you hear from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) regarding garlic?' He said: 'The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: Whoever eats from this plant should not come near us and should not pray with us.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے پوچھا گیا: آپ نے نبی اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے لہسن کے بارے میں کیا سنا؟ فرمایا: نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: جس نے اس پودے سے کھایا وہ ہمارے قریب نہ آئے اور نہ ہمارے ساتھ نماز پڑھے۔
