Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ تَسُبُّوا الأَمْوَاتَ، فَإِنَّهُمْ قَدْ أَفْضَوْا إِلَى مَا قَدَّمُوا ".
English Translation
Hadrat 'Ali ibn al-Ja'd narrated to us, Shu'bah informed us, from al-A'mash, from Mujahid, from Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat 'A'ishah (may Allah be well pleased with her) who said that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Do not abuse the dead, for they have reached what they sent forth."
Urdu Translation
ہم سے علی بن الجعد نے بیان کیا، ہمیں شعبہ نے خبر دی، اعمش سے، مجاہد سے، حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے فرمایا: نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "مُردوں کو بُرا مت کہو کیونکہ وہ اپنے اعمال کی طرف پہنچ چکے ہیں۔"
