حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي حَسَنُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَامَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ فَقَالَ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ، فَهْىَ حَرَامٌ بِحَرَامِ اللَّهِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، لَمْ تَحِلَّ لأَحَدٍ قَبْلِي، وَلاَ تَحِلُّ لأَحَدٍ بَعْدِي، وَلَمْ تَحْلِلْ لِي إِلاَّ سَاعَةً مِنَ الدَّهْرِ، لاَ يُنَفَّرُ صَيْدُهَا، وَلاَ يُعْضَدُ شَوْكُهَا، وَلاَ يُخْتَلَى خَلاَهَا وَلاَ تَحِلُّ لُقَطَتُهَا إِلاَّ لِمُنْشِدٍ ". فَقَالَ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ إِلاَّ الإِذْخِرَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، فَإِنَّهُ لاَ بُدَّ مِنْهُ لِلْقَيْنِ وَالْبُيُوتِ، فَسَكَتَ ثُمَّ قَالَ " إِلاَّ الإِذْخِرَ فَإِنَّهُ حَلاَلٌ ". وَعَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ بِمِثْلِ هَذَا أَوْ نَحْوِ هَذَا. رَوَاهُ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم.
English Translation
Hadrat Mujahid (upon him be mercy) narrates that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stood on the day of the Conquest of Makkah and declared, 'Allah made Makkah sacred on the day He created the heavens and the earth, and it remains sacred by the sanctity of Allah until the Day of Resurrection. It was not made lawful for anyone before me, nor will it be made lawful for anyone after me, and it was made lawful for me only for a brief period. Its game should not be disturbed, its thorny bushes should not be cut, its vegetation should not be uprooted, and its lost property should not be picked up except by one who announces it.' Hadrat Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib (may Allah be well pleased with him) submitted, 'O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! Except the Idhkhir grass, for it is indispensable for blacksmiths and houses.' The Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) remained silent and then declared, 'Except the Idhkhir, for it is lawful to cut.' This hadith is also reported similarly from Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both). It is also narrated by Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) from the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).
Urdu Translation
حضرت مجاہد رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم فتح مکہ کے دن کھڑے ہوئے اور ارشاد فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ نے مکہ کو آسمانوں اور زمین کی تخلیق کے دن سے حرمت عطا فرمائی ہے اور یہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی حرمت سے قیامت تک حرام ہے۔ مجھ سے پہلے کسی کے لیے حلال نہیں ہوا اور نہ میرے بعد کسی کے لیے حلال ہوگا اور میرے لیے بھی صرف تھوڑی دیر کے لیے حلال ہوا۔ اس کے شکار کو بھگایا نہ جائے، اس کے کانٹے نہ کاٹے جائیں، اس کی گھاس نہ اکھاڑی جائے اور اس کی گری پڑی چیز صرف اعلان کرنے والا اٹھائے۔ حضرت عباس بن عبدالمطلب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! اذخر کے سوا، کیونکہ یہ لوہاروں اور گھروں کے لیے ضروری ہے۔ حضور صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم خاموش رہے پھر ارشاد فرمایا: اذخر کے سوا، وہ حلال ہے۔ یہی حدیث حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے بھی اسی طرح مروی ہے۔ اسے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے بھی نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت فرمایا ہے۔
