Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَلَّى بِإِحْدَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ، وَالطَّائِفَةُ الأُخْرَى مُوَاجِهَةُ الْعَدُوِّ، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفُوا، فَقَامُوا فِي مَقَامِ أَصْحَابِهِمْ، فَجَاءَ أُولَئِكَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ، ثُمَّ قَامَ هَؤُلاَءِ فَقَضَوْا رَكْعَتَهُمْ، وَقَامَ هَؤُلاَءِ فَقَضَوْا رَكْعَتَهُمْ.
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) led one group in prayer while the other group faced the enemy. Then the first group went and stood facing the enemy, and the second group came and he led them in prayer, then he concluded with the salutation.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ایک جماعت کو نماز پڑھائی جبکہ دوسری جماعت دشمن کے سامنے تھی۔ پھر پہلی جماعت چلی گئی اور دشمن کے سامنے کھڑی ہو گئی اور دوسری جماعت آئی اور آپ نے ان کو نماز پڑھائی، پھر آپ نے سلام پھیرا۔
