Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ بْنَ عَازِبٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِثَوْبٍ مِنْ حَرِيرٍ، فَجَعَلُوا يَعْجَبُونَ مِنْ حُسْنِهِ وَلِينِهِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَمَنَادِيلُ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ هَذَا ".
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat al-Bara' bin 'Azib (may Allah be well pleased with them both) that a silken garment was presented to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). The people were astonished by its beauty and softness. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared: Indeed, the handkerchiefs of Hadrat Sa'd bin Mu'adh (may Allah be well pleased with him) in Paradise are finer and more excellent than this.
Urdu Translation
حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں ریشم کا ایک کپڑا پیش کیا گیا۔ لوگ اس کی خوبصورتی اور نرمی دیکھ کر حیرت میں پڑ گئے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: بے شک جنت میں حضرت سعد بن حضرت معاذ (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) کے رومال اس سے بہتر اور افضل ہیں۔
