Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنٌ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيِّ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ الأَجْرُ وَالْمَغْنَمُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ".
English Translation
Musaddad narrated to us, Khalid narrated to us, Husayn narrated to us, from 'Amir, from Hadrat 'Urwah al-Bariqi (may Allah be well pleased with him), who narrated from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that he stated: 'Goodness — that is, reward and spoils of war — is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection.'
Urdu Translation
ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے خالد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے حصین نے بیان کیا، عامر سے، انہوں نے حضرت عروۃ البارقی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے، انہوں نے حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت کیا کہ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: گھوڑوں کی پیشانیوں میں قیامت تک خیر (یعنی ثواب اور مالِ غنیمت) باندھی گئی ہے۔
