حَدَّثَنَا فَرْوَةُ بْنُ أَبِي الْمَغْرَاءِ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ لَقَلَّ يَوْمٌ كَانَ يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلاَّ يَأْتِي فِيهِ بَيْتَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَحَدَ طَرَفَىِ النَّهَارِ، فَلَمَّا أُذِنَ لَهُ فِي الْخُرُوجِ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ لَمْ يَرُعْنَا إِلاَّ وَقَدْ أَتَانَا ظُهْرًا، فَخُبِّرَ بِهِ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ مَا جَاءَنَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي هَذِهِ السَّاعَةِ، إِلاَّ لأَمْرٍ حَدَثَ، فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ لأَبِي بَكْرٍ " أَخْرِجْ مَنْ عِنْدَكَ ". قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّمَا هُمَا ابْنَتَاىَ. يَعْنِي عَائِشَةَ وَأَسْمَاءَ. قَالَ " أَشَعَرْتَ أَنَّهُ قَدْ أُذِنَ لِي فِي الْخُرُوجِ ". قَالَ الصُّحْبَةَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ. قَالَ " الصُّحْبَةَ ". قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ عِنْدِي نَاقَتَيْنِ أَعْدَدْتُهُمَا لِلْخُرُوجِ، فَخُذْ إِحْدَاهُمَا. قَالَ " قَدْ أَخَذْتُهَا بِالثَّمَنِ ".
English Translation
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha al-Siddiqa (may Allah be well pleased with her) who states: Rarely did a day pass when the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) did not visit the house of Hadrat Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be well pleased with him) either in the morning or in the evening. When he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was granted permission to emigrate to Madinah, we were startled to find him arriving at noon (contrary to his usual practice). Hadrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be well pleased with him) was informed and said: The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would not have come at this hour except for an important matter. When he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) entered, he said to Hadrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be well pleased with him): Send out whoever is with you. He submitted: O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! There are only my two daughters here -- meaning Hadrat Aisha and Asma' (may Allah be well pleased with them both). He stated: Are you aware that I have been granted permission to depart? He submitted: (I seek) your companionship, O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! He stated: (You shall have) companionship. He submitted: O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! I have two she-camels that I have prepared for departure; take one of them. He stated: I have taken it at its price.
Urdu Translation
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے، فرماتی ہیں: بہت کم ایسا ہوتا تھا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم صبح یا شام کے وقت حضرت ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے گھر تشریف نہ لائے ہوں۔ جب آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو مدینہ منورہ کی طرف ہجرت کی اجازت ملی تو ہمیں یکایک معلوم ہوا کہ آپ (معمول کے خلاف) ظہر کے وقت تشریف لائے ہیں۔ حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو خبر دی گئی تو فرمایا: نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اس وقت ضرور کسی نئے معاملے کی وجہ سے تشریف لائے ہیں۔ جب آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اندر تشریف لائے تو حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے ارشاد فرمایا: جو لوگ یہاں ہیں انہیں باہر بھیج دو۔ عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! یہاں تو صرف میری دو بیٹیاں ہیں، یعنی حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ اور اسماء (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما)۔ ارشاد فرمایا: کیا تمہیں معلوم ہے کہ مجھے (ہجرت کے لیے) نکلنے کی اجازت مل گئی ہے؟ عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! (مجھے بھی) ساتھ رکھیے۔ ارشاد فرمایا: ساتھ (چلو)۔ عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! میرے پاس دو اونٹنیاں ہیں جنہیں میں نے نکلنے کے لیے تیار کر رکھا تھا، ایک لے لیجیے۔ ارشاد فرمایا: میں نے اسے قیمت کے عوض لے لیا۔
