حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ نَمِرٍ، سَمِعَ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ جَهَرَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي صَلاَةِ الْخُسُوفِ بِقِرَاءَتِهِ، فَإِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ قِرَاءَتِهِ كَبَّرَ فَرَكَعَ، وَإِذَا رَفَعَ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ قَالَ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ، رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ. ثُمَّ يُعَاوِدُ الْقِرَاءَةَ فِي صَلاَةِ الْكُسُوفِ، أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ فِي رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَأَرْبَعَ سَجَدَاتٍ. وَقَالَ الأَوْزَاعِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُ سَمِعْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ أَنَّ الشَّمْسَ، خَسَفَتْ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَبَعَثَ مُنَادِيًا بِالصَّلاَةُ جَامِعَةٌ، فَتَقَدَّمَ فَصَلَّى أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ فِي رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَأَرْبَعَ سَجَدَاتٍ. وَأَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ نَمِرٍ سَمِعَ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ مِثْلَهُ. قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ فَقُلْتُ مَا صَنَعَ أَخُوكَ ذَلِكَ، عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ مَا صَلَّى إِلاَّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ مِثْلَ الصُّبْحِ إِذْ صَلَّى بِالْمَدِينَةِ. قَالَ أَجَلْ، إِنَّهُ أَخْطَأَ السُّنَّةَ. تَابَعَهُ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ وَسُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ فِي الْجَهْرِ.
English Translation
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be well pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) recited aloud during the eclipse prayer. When he finished the recitation, he said the Takbir and bowed. When he raised his head from the bowing, he said 'Sami'Allahu liman hamidah, Rabbana wa lakal hamd,' then resumed the recitation. In the eclipse prayer, there were four bowings and four prostrations in two rak'at. Al-Awza'i and others said: I heard al-Zuhri narrate from 'Urwa, from Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be well pleased with her), that the sun eclipsed in the era of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). He sent an announcer calling 'The prayer is to be offered in congregation,' then he stepped forward and performed four bowings and four prostrations in two rak'at. Abdur-Rahman bin Namir informed that he heard the same from Ibn Shihab. Al-Zuhri said: I said to 'Urwa, 'Your brother Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be well pleased with them both) did not do so; he only prayed two rak'at like the Fajr prayer when he led the prayer in Medina.' 'Urwa replied, 'Indeed, he erred from the Sunnah.' Sufyan bin Husayn and Sulaiman bin Kathir also narrated from al-Zuhri regarding the loud recitation.
Urdu Translation
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے نمازِ کسوف (گرہن) میں بلند آواز سے قراءت فرمائی۔ جب قراءت سے فارغ ہوتے تو تکبیر کہہ کر رکوع فرماتے، اور جب رکوع سے سر اٹھاتے تو «سمع اللہ لمن حمدہ ربنا ولک الحمد» فرماتے، پھر دوبارہ قراءت شروع فرماتے۔ نمازِ کسوف میں دو رکعتوں میں چار رکوع اور چار سجدے ہوتے تھے۔ اوزاعی وغیرہ نے فرمایا کہ میں نے زہری سے سنا، انہوں نے عروہ سے، انہوں نے حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے زمانے میں سورج گرہن لگا تو آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے منادی بھیجا کہ نماز جماعت سے ہوگی، پھر آگے بڑھے اور دو رکعتوں میں چار رکوع اور چار سجدے ادا فرمائے۔ عبدالرحمٰن بن نمر نے بتایا کہ انہوں نے ابن شہاب سے اسی طرح سنا۔ زہری نے فرمایا: میں نے عروہ سے کہا کہ تمہارے بھائی عبداللہ بن حضرت زبیر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما نے تو ایسا نہیں کیا، انہوں نے مدینہ میں فجر کی نماز کی طرح صرف دو رکعتیں پڑھائیں۔ عروہ نے فرمایا: ہاں، انہوں نے سنت سے چوک ہو گئی۔ سفیان بن حسین اور سلیمان بن کثیر نے بھی زہری سے بلند آواز سے قراءت والی بات روایت کی ہے۔
