English Translation
Hadrat Sa'd (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) left Ali behind during the expedition of Tabuk, and Ali said: "O Messenger of Allah, are you leaving me behind with the women and children?" He said: "Are you not pleased to be to me as Aaron was to Moses?" This was narrated through al-Zuhri from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib from Sa'd.
