ردوا عليك وقد بعثني إليك لتأمرني بما شئت فإن شئت أطبق عليهم الأخشبين فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بل أرجو أن يخرج الله من أصلابهم من يعبد الله وحده لا يشرك به شيئاوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ إلا يونسحدثنا أحمد قال ردوا عليك وقد بعثني إليك لتأمرني بما شئت فإن شئت أطبق عليهم الأخشبين فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بل أرجو أن يخرج الله من أصلابهم من يعبد الله وحده لا يشرك به شيئاوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ إلا يونسحدثنا أحمد قال
English Translation
«They have repulsed you, and He has sent me to you so that you may command me as you wish. If you wish, I shall bring the two mountains down upon them.» The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «Rather, I hope that Allah will bring forth from their loins those who will worship Allah alone, associating nothing with Him.» This hadith is not known to have been narrated from az-Zuhri except by Yunus.
