حَدَّثَنا سعيد بن بحر القراطيسي حَدَّثَنا أبو قطن حَدَّثَنا أبو حرة عن محمد بن سيرين عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ أيصلي أحدنا في الثوب الواحد قال أو كلكم يجد ثوبينوَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي حرة إلا أبو قطن واسم أبي حرة واصل بن عَبْد الرَّحْمن واسم أبي قطن عمرو بن الهيثم اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ أيصلي أحدنا في الثوب الواحد قال أو كلكم يجد ثوبينوَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي حرة إلا أبو قطن واسم أبي حرة واصل بن عَبْد الرَّحْمن واسم أبي قطن عمرو بن الهيثم
English Translation
Sa'id ibn Bahr al-Qaratisi narrated to us, Abu Qutn narrated to us, Abu Hurra narrated to us from Muhammad ibn Sirin from Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he was asked: "Should one of us pray in a single garment?" He said: "Does every one of you have two garments?" And this hadith - we know of no one who narrated it from Abu Hurra except Abu Qutn. Abu Hurra's name is Wasil ibn Abd al-Rahman, and Abu Qutn's name is Amr ibn al-Haytham.
