حَدَّثَنا عبيد الله بن مُحَمَّد أبو الربيع حَدَّثَنا الحَسَن بن عبد الرحمن بن العريان حَدَّثَنا ابن عون عن مُحَمَّد عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خرج للصلاة فلما اصطفت الصفوف أومأ إليهم بيده ثم دخل فرجع ورأسه يقطر فصلى بهموَهَذَا الحديثُ لَمْ نَسْمَعْهُ إِلا مِنْ أَبِي الربيع وكان ثقة مأمونا اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خرج للصلاة فلما اصطفت الصفوف أومأ إليهم بيده ثم دخل فرجع ورأسه يقطر فصلى بهموَهَذَا الحديثُ لَمْ نَسْمَعْهُ إِلا مِنْ أَبِي الربيع وكان ثقة مأمونا
English Translation
Ubayd Allah ibn Muhammad Abu al-Rabi' narrated to us, al-Hasan ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Uryan narrated to us, Ibn Awn narrated to us from Muhammad from Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came out for the prayer. When the rows were lined up, he gestured to them with his hand, then entered and returned with his head dripping, and he prayed with them. And this hadith - we did not hear it except from Abu al-Rabi', and he was trustworthy and reliable.
