حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ الْمَعْنِيُّ قَالَ نا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كُنْتُ مِمَّنْ يَعْتَرِيهُ النُّعَاسُ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فَلَا أَنْسَى أَنَّهُ أُسْمِعَ صَوْتَ مُعَتِّبِ بْنِ قُشَيْرٍ كَالْحُلْمِ قَالَ كُنْتُ مِمَّنْ يَعْتَرِيهُ النُّعَاسُ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فَلَا أَنْسَى أَنَّهُ أُسْمِعَ صَوْتَ مُعَتِّبِ بْنِ قُشَيْرٍ كَالْحُلْمِ
English Translation
Hadrat A'ishah (may Allah be well pleased with her) narrated that a Jewish woman came to her and mentioned the punishment of the grave, and said to her: "May Allah protect you from the punishment of the grave." A'ishah said: So I asked the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) about the punishment of the grave. He stated: «Yes, the punishment of the grave is real." A'ishah said: After that, I never saw the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) pray any prayer except that he would seek refuge with Allah from the punishment of the grave. We do not know anyone who narrated this hadith from A'ishah except Urwah.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ ایک یہودی عورت ان کے پاس آئی اور قبر کے عذاب کا ذکر کیا، اور ان سے کہا: اللہ تمہیں قبر کے عذاب سے محفوظ رکھے۔ عائشہ نے کہا: تو میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے قبر کے عذاب کے بارے میں پوچھا۔ آپ نے فرمایا: «ہاں، قبر کا عذاب حق ہے۔» عائشہ نے کہا: اس کے بعد، میں نے کبھی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو کوئی نماز پڑھتے نہیں دیکھا مگر یہ کہ آپ قبر کے عذاب سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگتے۔ ہمیں علم نہیں کہ اس حدیث کو عائشہ سے عروہ کے علاوہ کسی نے روایت کیا ہو۔
