حَدَّثَنا يوسف بن موسى حَدَّثَنا أَحْمَد بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عياش عن داود بن يزيد عن أبيه عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قال أقبل سعد إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ فِي وجه سعد لخيرا قال يا رسول الله هلك كسرى فقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أول الناس هلاكا فارس والعرب أبو خالد الوالبي النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ فِي وجه سعد لخيرا قال يا رسول الله هلك كسرى فقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أول الناس هلاكا فارس والعرب أبو خالد الوالبي
English Translation
Yusuf ibn Musa narrated to us: Ahmad ibn Yunus narrated to us from Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash from Dawud ibn Yazid from his father from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: Sa'd came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed in the face of Sa'd there is goodness." He said: 'O Messenger of Allah, Kisra has perished.' The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The first people to perish are the Persians and the Arabs."
