حَدَّثَنا به الفضل بن سهل حَدَّثَنا أبو النضر هاشم بن القاسم حَدَّثَنا أبو معاوية شيبان يعني ابن عبد الرحمن عن أشعث بن أبي الشعثاء عن أبي الأحوص عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إن في الجمعة لساعة لا يسأل الله فيها شيئا إلا أعطاه يعني عبدهوَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ إلا شيبان كُمَيْل بن زِيَاد اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إن في الجمعة لساعة لا يسأل الله فيها شيئا إلا أعطاه يعني عبدهوَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ إلا شيبان كُمَيْل بن زِيَاد
English Translation
Al-Fadl ibn Sahl narrated it to us: Abu an-Nadr Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us: Abu Mu'awiyah Shayban, meaning Ibn Abd ar-Rahman, narrated to us from Ash'ath ibn Abi ash-Sha'tha from Abu al-Ahwas from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed in Friday there is an hour in which no servant asks Allah for anything except that He grants it to him." This hadith is not known to have been narrated from Ash'ath except by Shayban.
