حَدَّثَنا عمرو بن علي وبشر بن معاذ العقدي قَالاَ حَدَّثَنا بشر بن المفضل حَدَّثَنا علي بن زيد عن أوس بن خالد عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يحشر الناس على ثلاثة أثلاث ثلث على الدواب وثلث على أقدامهم وثلث على وجوههموَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمْهُ يُرْوَى بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إلاَّ مِنْ هذا الوَجْه عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ بهذا الإِسْنَاد اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يحشر الناس على ثلاثة أثلاث ثلث على الدواب وثلث على أقدامهم وثلث على وجوههموَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمْهُ يُرْوَى بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إلاَّ مِنْ هذا الوَجْه عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ بهذا الإِسْنَاد
English Translation
Ibrahim narrated to us, Musa narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us from Muhammad ibn Amr from Abu Salamah from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who stated: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "A man visited a brother of his in another town. Allah placed an angel on his path. When he came to him, the angel said: Where are you going? He said: I am going to visit a brother of mine in this town. He said: Do you have a favor upon him that you seek? He said: No, I only love him for the sake of Allah. He said: I am a messenger of Allah to you [to tell you] that Allah loves you as you loved him for His sake."
