حَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنا محمد بن جعفر حَدَّثَنا شُعْبَة عَنْ قَتَادةَ عن زرارة بن أوفى عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَوَحَدَّثَنَاهُ عَمْرُو بْنُ علي حَدَّثَنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ حَدَّثَنا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادةَ عن زرارة عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَمْرُو بْنُ علي حَدَّثَنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ حَدَّثَنا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادةَ عن زرارة عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us from Sa'd ibn Ibrahim who said: I heard Abu Salamah narrating from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: "Every newborn is born upon the fitrah [natural disposition of Islam]; then his parents make him a Jew, or a Christian, or a Magian." This hadith has been narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) through other routes.
