حَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّد بن معمر وأحمد بن عبد الله بن علي قالا حَدَّثَنا وهب بن جرير حَدَّثَنا أبي قال سمعت الزبير بن الخريت يحدث عن عكرمة عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قال إذا اختلفتم في الطريق فاجعلوه سبعة أذرعوهذا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عن عكرمة عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا جرير بن حازم وقد تابع جرير بن حازم أيوب فرواه عن عكرمة عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ورواه سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عباس رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قال إذا اختلفتم في الطريق فاجعلوه سبعة أذرعوهذا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عن عكرمة عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا جرير بن حازم وقد تابع جرير بن حازم أيوب فرواه عن عكرمة عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ورواه سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عباس رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ma'mar and Ahmad ibn Abdullah ibn Ali narrated to us, they said: Wahb ibn Jarir narrated to us, our father narrated to us, he said: I heard al-Zubayr ibn al-Kharrit narrating from Ikrimah from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "When you disagree about the [width of a] road, make it seven cubits." This hadith is not known to be narrated from Ikrimah from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) except by Jarir ibn Hazim. Ayyub corroborated Jarir ibn Hazim, narrating it from Ikrimah from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him). Simak ibn Harb narrated it from Ikrimah from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both).
