حَدَّثَنا عمرو بن علي حدثنا أبو داود حدثنا المسعودي حدثنا مزاحم بن زفر عن مُجاهد عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُعْطِيتُ خَمْسًا لَمْ يُعْطَهُنَّ نَبِيٌّ قَبْلِي بُعِثْتُ إِلَى الأَحْمَرِ وَالأَسْوَدِ وأحلت لي الغنائم وَجُعِلَتْ لِيَ الأَرْضُ مَسْجِدًا وَطَهُورًا وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ أحسبه قال وأعطيت جوامع الكلم
English Translation
Amr ibn Ali narrated to us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, al-Mas'udi narrated to us, Muzahim ibn Zufar narrated to us, from Mujahid, from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who stated: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «I was given five things that no prophet before me was given: I was sent to the red and the black; the spoils of war were made lawful for me; the earth was made a place of prayer and purification for me; I was granted victory through awe.» I believe he stated: «And I was given concise speech (jawami' al-kalim).»
