حَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّد بن معمر حَدَّثَنا روح بن عبادة حَدَّثَنا أبو عامر الخزاز واسمه صالح بن رستم عن عَطَاء عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا استجمر أحدكم فليوتر إن الله وتر يحب الوتر أما ترى أن السماوات سبع والأرض سبع والأيام سبع والطواف سبع وذكر أشياءوَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي عامر عن عَطَاء عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا روح بن عبادة اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا استجمر أحدكم فليوتر إن الله وتر يحب الوتر أما ترى أن السماوات سبع والأرض سبع والأيام سبع والطواف سبع وذكر أشياءوَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي عامر عن عَطَاء عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا روح بن عبادة
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ma'mar narrated to us, Rawh ibn Ubadah narrated to us, Abu Amir al-Khazzaz — whose name is Salih ibn Rustum — narrated to us, from Ata', from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «When one of you uses stones for cleaning, let him use an odd number. Indeed, Allah is Witr (Single) and loves the odd number. Do you not see that the heavens are seven, the earths are seven, the days are seven, the circuits of tawaf are seven?» And he mentioned other things. This hadith — we do not know that anyone narrated it from Abu Amir from Ata' from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) except Rawh ibn Ubadah.
