حَدَّثنا أحمد بن أَبَان وخلف بن خليفة قَالاَ حَدَّثنَا سفيان بن عُيَينة عَن أبي الزِّنَاد عَن الأَعرَج عَن أبي هُرَيرة يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال أخنع اسم عند الله رجل تسمى بملك الملوك عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال أخنع اسم عند الله رجل تسمى بملك الملوك
English Translation
Ahmad ibn Aban and Khalaf ibn Khalifah narrated to us, they said: Sufyan ibn Uyaynah narrated to us from Abu al-Zinad from al-A'raj from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), who attributed it to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), who stated: «The most despicable name in the sight of Allah is a man who calls himself King of Kings.»
