حَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَال حَدَّثنا أَبُو عامر قَال حَدَّثنا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمان عَنْ هِلالِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَن عَطاء بن يسار عَن أبي هُرَيرة قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم يكبر ابن آدم وينقص جسمه وقلبه شاب على حب اثنتين طول العمر وحب المال اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم يكبر ابن آدم وينقص جسمه وقلبه شاب على حب اثنتين طول العمر وحب المال
English Translation
Amr ibn Ali narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us from Abdul Aziz from Suhayl from his father from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «When one of you stands up to pray, let him not spit in front of him, for he is conversing privately with Allah as long as he is in his place of prayer. Let him not spit to his right, for to his right is an angel. Let him spit to his left or under his foot and then bury it.»
