حَدَّثنا خالد بن يوسف قَال حَدَّثنا أَبُو عَوَانة عَن عُمَر بن أبي سَلَمَة عَن أَبِيه عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ إِذَا صَلَّى أحدكم فلم يدر ثنتين صلى أم ثلاثًا فليسجد سجدتين وهُو جالس اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ إِذَا صَلَّى أحدكم فلم يدر ثنتين صلى أم ثلاثًا فليسجد سجدتين وهُو جالس
English Translation
Abu Kamil narrated to us, he said: Abu Awanah narrated to us from Umar ibn Abi Salamah from his father from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «Whoever does not give up false speech and acting upon it, Allah has no need that he should give up his food and drink.»
