حَدَّثنا نصر بن علي قال أَخْبَرنا عَبد الأعلى قَال حَدَّثنا عُبَيد الله عَن سَعِيد عَن أبي هُرَيرة وعَن نافعٍ عَن ابْنِ عُمَر عَنِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال دخلت امرأة النَّارَ فِي هِرَّةٍ أَوْثَقَتْهَا فَلَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تتركها تأكل من خشاش الأرض الله عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال دخلت امرأة النَّارَ فِي هِرَّةٍ أَوْثَقَتْهَا فَلَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تتركها تأكل من خشاش الأرض
English Translation
Nasr ibn Ali narrated to us saying: Abd al-A'la informed us saying: Ubaid Allah narrated to us from Said from Abu Hurairah and from Nafi from Ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them) from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who said: «A woman entered the Fire because of a cat that she imprisoned until it died — she neither fed it nor let it eat from the vermin of the earth.»
