حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بْنُ بَشَّار قَال حَدَّثنا عَبد الرحمن بن مهدي قَال حَدَّثنا سُفيان عَن عَاصِم بْنِ عُبَيد اللَّهِ عَن زياد بن ثُوَيب عَن أبي هُرَيرة قال جاء النَّبِيّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيه وَسَلَّم يعودني فقال ألا أرقيك برقية رقاني بها جبريل قلت بلى بأبي وأمي فقال بسم الله أرقيك من كل داء فيك من النفاثات في العقد وَمَنْ شر حاسد إذا حسد أبو حبيبة عَن أبي هُرَيرة الله عَلَيه وَسَلَّم يعودني فقال ألا أرقيك برقية رقاني بها جبريل قلت بلى بأبي وأمي فقال بسم الله أرقيك من كل داء فيك من النفاثات في العقد وَمَنْ شر حاسد إذا حسد أبو حبيبة عَن أبي هُرَيرة
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us saying: Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us saying: Sufyan narrated to us from Asim ibn Ubaid Allah from Ziyad ibn Thuwaib from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) came to visit me and said: 'Shall I not recite over you a healing prayer that Jibril recited over me?' I said: 'Yes, by my father and mother.' He said: «In the name of Allah, I recite over you from every illness in you, from the evil of those who blow on knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies.» Abu Habibah also narrated from Abu Hurairah.
