وحَدَّثنا عَمْرو قَال حَدَّثنا يحيى قَال حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن عَجْلان عَن أَبِيه عَن أبي هُرَيرة قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم ما سالمناهن منذ حاربناهن وَمَنْ ترك شيئا منهن خيفة فليس منا يعني الحيات اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم ما سالمناهن منذ حاربناهن وَمَنْ ترك شيئا منهن خيفة فليس منا يعني الحيات
English Translation
And Amr narrated to us, saying: Yahya narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Ajlan narrated to us from his father from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "We have never been at peace with them since we went to war with them. And whoever leaves any of them alone out of fear is not of us" — meaning snakes.
