وحَدَّثنا عُمَر بن حفص الشيباني قَال حَدَّثنا أَبُو عامر قَال حَدَّثنا زهير عن العلاء بن عَبد الرحمن عَن أَبِيه عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ مَنْ صَامَ رمضان وأتبعه بست من شوال فكأنما صام الدهروهذا الحديث رواه أَبُو عامر عن زهير عن العلاء ورواه عَمْرو بن أبي سَلَمَة عن زهير عن سهيل عَن أَبِيه عَن أبي هُرَيرة ولم أسمعه من أحد يحدث به عَن أبي عامر إلاَّ عُمَر بن حفص رأيته في كتاب أحمد بن ثابت مكتوبا وَقال لم يقرأه علينا أَبُو عامر اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ مَنْ صَامَ رمضان وأتبعه بست من شوال فكأنما صام الدهروهذا الحديث رواه أَبُو عامر عن زهير عن العلاء ورواه عَمْرو بن أبي سَلَمَة عن زهير عن سهيل عَن أَبِيه عَن أبي هُرَيرة ولم أسمعه من أحد يحدث به عَن أبي عامر إلاَّ عُمَر بن حفص رأيته في كتاب أحمد بن ثابت مكتوبا وَقال لم يقرأه علينا أَبُو عامر
English Translation
And Umar ibn Hafs al-Shaybani narrated to us, saying: Abu Amir narrated to us, saying: Zuhayr narrated to us from al-Ala ibn Abd al-Rahman from his father from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: "Whoever fasts Ramadan and follows it with six days of Shawwal, it is as if he fasted the entire year." This hadith was narrated by Abu Amir from Zuhayr from al-Ala, and Amr ibn Abi Salamah narrated it from Zuhayr from Suhayl from his father from Abu Hurairah. I did not hear anyone narrate it from Abu Amir except Umar ibn Hafs. I saw it written in the book of Ahmad ibn Thabit, and he said: Abu Amir did not read it to us.
