حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن بَشَّار قَال حَدَّثنا روح بن عبادة قَال حَدَّثنا مالك عَن العلاء بن عَبد الرحمن عَن أَبِيه عَن أبي هُرَيرة أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم نهى أن ينتبذ في الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم نهى أن ينتبذ في الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us, saying: Rawh ibn Ubadah narrated to us, saying: Malik narrated to us from al-Ala ibn Abd al-Rahman from his father from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade making nabidh (date drink) in gourds (dubba) and pitch-coated vessels (muzaffat).
