حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن حرب الواسطي قَال حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن يزيد قَال حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن إسحاق عَن العلاء بن عَبد الرحمن عَن أَبِيه عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال يقول الغني الله تبارك وتعالى استقرضت عَبدي فلم يقرضني ويؤذيني يقول وادهراه وَأنا الدهر الله عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال يقول الغني الله تبارك وتعالى استقرضت عَبدي فلم يقرضني ويؤذيني يقول وادهراه وَأنا الدهر
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Harb al-Wasiti narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Yazid narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Ishaq narrated to us from al-Ala ibn Abd al-Rahman from his father from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: "Allah, Blessed and Exalted, says: 'I asked My servant for a loan and he would not lend to Me.' And he (man) offends Me by saying: 'Woe is the time!' — while I am Time."
