حَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَال حَدَّثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ فيما أحسب أو غيره من أصحاب شعبة عن شعبة عن سَعْد بن إبراهيم عن الأغر عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ صَلاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ مِنَ المساجد إلاَّ المسجد الحرام اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ صَلاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ مِنَ المساجد إلاَّ المسجد الحرام
English Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Jafar narrated to us — I think, or another of Shubah's companions — from Shubah from Sad ibn Ibrahim from al-Agharr from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: "A prayer in this mosque of mine is better than one thousand prayers in any other mosque except al-Masjid al-Haram."
