حَدَّثنا أحمد بن الوليد البغدادي قَال حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن الحسن المخزومي قَال حَدَّثنا أسامة بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَن أَبِيه عَن ابن سيلان عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال خمسا يقتلهن المحرم العقرب والفأرة والحداءة والكلب العقور والحيةوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة من وجه آخر فقال الغراب ولم يذكر الحية ولاَ نَعلم أسند ابن سيلان عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ هذين الحديثين وروى حديثا آخر موقُوفًا اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال خمسا يقتلهن المحرم العقرب والفأرة والحداءة والكلب العقور والحيةوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة من وجه آخر فقال الغراب ولم يذكر الحية ولاَ نَعلم أسند ابن سيلان عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ هذين الحديثين وروى حديثا آخر موقُوفًا
English Translation
Ahmad ibn al-Walid al-Baghdadi narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Makhzumi narrated to us, he said: Usamah ibn Zayd ibn Aslam narrated to us, from his father, from Ibn Saylan, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «Five creatures a pilgrim in ihram may kill: the scorpion, the mouse, the kite, the vicious dog, and the snake.» This hadith has been narrated from Abu Hurairah through another chain in which it says 'the crow' instead, without mentioning the snake. We do not know of Ibn Saylan connecting the chain from Abu Hurairah except these two hadiths, and he narrated another one that is mawquf (stopped at the companion).
