كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ حَمْزة بن مالك يخبر أَن عمه سفيان بن حمزة حدثه عن كثير بن زيد عَن الوليد بن رباح عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال فضلت بخصال ست لم يعطهن أحد قبلي غفر لي ما تقدم من ذنبي وما تأخر وَأُحِلَّتْ لِيَ الْغَنَائِمُ وَلَمْ تُحَلَّ لأَحَدٍ قَبْلِي وجعلت أمتي خير الأمم وجعلت لي الأرض مسجدًا وطهورا وأعطيت الكوثر ونصرت بالرعب والذي نفسي بيده إن صاحبكم لصاحب لواء الحمد يوم القيامة تحته آدم فمن دونه اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال فضلت بخصال ست لم يعطهن أحد قبلي غفر لي ما تقدم من ذنبي وما تأخر وَأُحِلَّتْ لِيَ الْغَنَائِمُ وَلَمْ تُحَلَّ لأَحَدٍ قَبْلِي وجعلت أمتي خير الأمم وجعلت لي الأرض مسجدًا وطهورا وأعطيت الكوثر ونصرت بالرعب والذي نفسي بيده إن صاحبكم لصاحب لواء الحمد يوم القيامة تحته آدم فمن دونه
English Translation
Hamzah ibn Malik wrote to me informing me that his uncle Sufyan ibn Hamzah narrated to him, from Kathir ibn Zayd, from al-Walid ibn Rabah, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «I have been preferred with six qualities that no one before me was given: My past and future sins have been forgiven; war spoils have been made lawful for me, and they were not made lawful for anyone before me; my nation has been made the best of nations; the earth has been made a place of prayer and purification for me; I have been given al-Kawthar; and I have been aided with awe. By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, your companion is the bearer of the Banner of Praise on the Day of Resurrection, beneath which will be Adam and all who came after him.»
